Volunteer

Serve on a committee. Committees help to set goals and direction for the synagogue and manage projects and events. The Committees page has more information on what each committee does as well as contact information.

Help with a specific event or project. Throughout the year, volunteers help organize and run a variety of events including the Megillah reading, the Purim carnival, community Shabbat dinners, the Block Party, Winterfest, synagogue cleanup days, and more. Contact the office if you want to help, or if you have an idea for an event you want to organize.

Volunteer with the Hebrew School. Be a teachers’ aide, sponsor snack time, or help organize a class dinner or soup kitchen shift.

Help with a social event. Groups such as the Choir, Men’s Group, Women’s Group, and Book Club often need help organizing or publicizing their meetings.
