At the rising of the sun and at its going down, we remember them.
At the blowing of the wind and the chill of winter, we remember them.
The Agudas Achim Cemetery was founded in 1909, before the synagogue was established. It is located in Attleboro, Massachusetts, in a quiet and tranquil setting, surrounded by trees. The cemetery is easily accessible from Providence, northern Rhode Island, and southeastern Massachusetts.
We provide Jewish and Interfaith burial sites to our synagogue community and to the Jewish community at large. The Sholes-Fine Traditional Section provides sites that adhere to the tenets of Jewish burials and remembrance, while the Interfaith Section offers sites for Jews and their non-Jewish partners. We are committed to providing a consecrated place to respect and honor the dead and a place of remembrance and peace to support the living.
The cemetery is maintained through a fund established and enhanced by the sale of burial sites.
The cemetery is open from 8:00 am to sundown every day except Shabbat and on the Jewish holidays. Congregation Agudas Achim conducts a memorial service each year between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
To learn more about our cemetery please contact the office.
The rabbi is available to perform funerals and unveilings for members and their immediate family. Funerals and unveilings for non-members are contingent on the rabbi’s availability.
