Rabbi Brumberg-Kraus will lead a discussion of the Book of Jonah, which we read traditionally on the afternoon of Yom Kippur. We will pay close attention to the remarkable features of this beautifully written story portraying G_d’s concern for ALL creatures, despite their wrongdoing; the questions it raises for us; and what it has to say to us today as we try to navigate (pun intended; it’s a sea story!) these challenging times.
