 elow.\n\nOur statement regarding the recent incident at a synagogue in Tau
 nton\, MA\n\nThe community of Congregation Agudas Achim in Attleboro stand
 s in solidarity with Congregation Agudath Achim against all forms of hate 
 and intolerance. We are shocked\, saddened\, and angered at the vandalism 
 of a sacred place where people gather in peace and prayer. While this vand
 alism appears to be the act of a single person\, it nonetheless reminds us
  that even in a state as progressive as Massachusetts\, there are undercur
 rents of hostility directed at people based on their religion\, and their 
 gender or sexual identity. We must work together to ensure that all people
  are free to live their lives as they wish without the fear of violence.\n
 \nAs a show of our support\, Agudas Achim has cancelled its Shabbat servic
 es this week and will urge our congregants to attend services at Agudath A
 chim. The strength of our combined communities will demonstrate that we wi
 ll not be intimidated by threats\, but rather\, we will disarm them with a
 n abundance of faith\, love\, and fortitude.
