These are some creative writing pieces by our Kitah Daled students (grade 4) describing the Beauty they find in God's World.

The beaches in Florida show beauty in God’s world because the water is always sparkling. It is special to me because I always go down there with my neighbors and they rent a house so that we can all stay together. There is a bunk bed, a futon and a single bed. We always fill up all of the beds in the kids’ room. I used tissue paper for the sand, foam for the water, pipe cleaners for the people, and felt for the road.

This place represents beauty in God’s world because it was in the Cape at the May Flower Beach. It is special to me because my grandparents live in the Cape. In my project I used these materials: tissue paper, dot paint, ribbon and felt. I used tissue paper to make the sun and the boats. The ribbon reflects the sun going down on the water.

Italy represents beauty in God’s world because I’ve been there so much I’ve been falling in love with the ancient ruins, all the cats and the pasta. Italy is very special to me because I go there almost every year, and it’s just so beautiful. The materials I used were markers, a ribbon roll, foam, bab-o-ink, and colored pencils. I used the ribbon to make my coliseum stand up. The markers I used to color “Italy” and the foam was used to cover the coliseum.

This canyon represents beauty in God’s world because there are rainbows on sunny days and the water usually sparkles. It is special to me because it seemed so colorful. The materials that I used were foam, pipe cleaners and colored pencils. I used the pipe cleaners for the tree trunks and I used the foam the bushes.

The house on the lake represents beauty in God’s world. It’s special to me because I get to swim whenever I want. In my project I used blue foam to represent the lake, red construction paper to represent the house, and brown foam to represent the dock.

The bridge to Newport represents beauty in God’s world because I loved the view of the water. It is special to me because it was a special trip, and we never go there. I used white foam and blue tissue paper and a red pen to make the bridge and water.

The Statue of Liberty represents beauty in God’s world because it’s a symbol of America and because it’s pretty in the sunset. It is special to me because it’s very pretty and because my cousin lives in New York. In my project, I used green foam, markers, feathers as the torch blue felt, and blue tissue paper.
