Everything You Want To Know About Reconstructionism Join Rabbi Elyse for an informal discussion of what makes Congregation Agudas Achim a Reconstructionist community. Both novices and those wanting to go deeper are welcome. Two opportunities this month:
Ethics Class Meets Monthly Ethics for everyday life, or What does G-d really want from us? Come join this one-hour pre-service study of Musar with Rabbi Elyse. Classes meet once a month. Next class is on Saturday, May 10 at 9 am. Adult B'nai Mitzvah Class The next Adult B’nai Mitzvah classes will be held on Sunday, May 18 at 5 pm and Sunday, June 1 at 9:30 am. First hour is an Adult Hebrew class, followed by the B’nai Mitzvah workshop. Contact Rabbi Elyse for more details. The Return of Weekly Torah Study Anyone can study Torah. Please join us any Friday morning at 9 am at the synagogue for lay-led Torah Study. Each week we will discuss the parsha ha'shavuah (the weekly Torah portion) looking for new insights and connections within our ancient sacred text.
